SHADOWLINE / OUR PROCESS

Design first. Drawings second. Then the build.

Every project runs the same sequence. Where you enter depends on who you are, and there is one rule at every door: a designer is involved in some capacity. Bring your own, or we facilitate design in house.

THE ONE RULE

A designer is part of every project. It is how the drawings stay honest and the finished room earns its budget.

The sequence, step by step.

Tap a step to open it. Every project is different, but the order never changes.

01 / DESIGN

It starts with design

Nothing gets priced for production before it is designed. Your designer or architect leads, or our in-house design support carries it, and the room gets resolved: layout, construction line, woods, finishes, hardware, and storage. This is where the decisions live.

02 / SHOP DRAWINGS

Design becomes a drawing set

03 / THE BUILD

Built to the approved set

04 / DELIVERY OR INSTALL

To your site, or through our install

Two ways the drawings can land.

INTEGRATED SHOPS

Our drawings fold into your architectural detail package: shared datums, matched section conventions, one coordinated set. Best when the cabinetry has to meet trim, steel, stone, or another trade mid-wall.

BASE-LEVEL SHOPS

A clean, complete cabinetry set your team takes forward on its own. Best when your office owns the detail package and needs the cabinetry documented, priced, and out of the way.
